In early July, the front entrance began to take shape. The entire facade is constructed of heavy steel beams covered with colored steel sheets. It took workers a long time to fit and fasten all the intricate pieces required to construct the roof-like structure. While lights installed in the soffits enhanced the ambiance, they complicated the task. Meanwhile, the new 5-ton overhead crane arrived by truck. Amazingly, it didn't take long for workers to position the heavy bright yellow beam in the shop, then carefully hoist it in place by two hefty fork lifts. The crane will ride on heavy tracks as it slides back and forth the length of the shop. Once the beam was in place, workers had to install the complex electrical system that feeds power to the unit regardless of its location in the shop. By early August, the new front was nearly complete. At some point, a new sign bearing the company name and the New Holland logo will be attached to the front structure.
